Ajay is the Founder and Managing Director of Art Clubbers CIC, Forbes 30 under 30 Europe Nominee and an award-winning artist who is actively working across public, private and third sectors to support underrepresented young Londoners access into the creative sector by delivering and designing programmes, as well as consulting businesses to embed diversity and inclusion is at the core of its activities. In 2021, Ajay became a Civic Futures Fellow, one of 30 people from across London’s civil society and local government to who will take part in a collective learning and discovery experience with the Greater London Authority. Focusing thematically on the London Recovery Board’s missions, encouraging collaboration and experimentation around the 9 recovery missions.
Ajay is also on a personal mission to shine a limelight on individuals from BAME and LGBT+ intersections and the unique talent they bring to the creative sector. In 2020, he was featured by Pride In London’s as one of there 52 dynamic and thought-provoking LGBT+ visual artists.

As you may know, over the past couple of weeks we have been on an incredible journey delivering our flagship creative leadership programme SYNC (Skills.Youth.Network.Create). We have been supporting and training 30 young creatives from the 4 growth boroughs (Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest), in East London, on a holistic journey in developing their creative businesses and entrepreneurial adventures!
Funded and supported by Foundation for Future London and Westfield Creative Fund, we will have delivered over 60 free workshops, panel talks and sessions by various inspiring industry professionals, experts and creative business owners.
Join us for celebrations as we showcase the diverse talent of the cohort and the future of creative startups in East London!
Just like a Creatives Fair, our cohort will be showcasing their work and learnings from the programme. This will be an opportunity to network with peers, like-minded individuals, connect with local creatives/businesses, and most importantly, to celebrate our young creatives' achievements! Aisha Shaibu-Lenoir is a social entrepreneur and LGBTQ+ activist, recognized as one of the 'Top 100 LGBTQ+ Trailblazers' changing the world. She is the founder of Moonlight Experiences, an award-winning company dedicated to the celebration of diverse queer culture and travel by harnessing the economic power of tourism and nightlife. The organisation is decolonizing travel and addressing the lack of visibility and services for queer women, non-binary, and Black/POC members. Aisha is also an integral part of the management team, spearheading initiatives and cultivating a welcoming space for the LGBTQI+ community at The Common Press—an intersectional day and night bookshop and events space in London. Aisha’s activism and community contributions also extend to her role as Head of Community Engagement for UK Black Pride and as a Trustee for GiveOut.

Nathan is the son of an Italian immigrant, an uncle of two, and largely a product of his first 18 years growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. He runs Almost Any How and facilitates and coaches individuals and teams to reflect, learn and feedback more regularly, communicate more compassionately and design more collaboratively.
Almost Any How believes that inclusive and equitable leadership manifests when we build a practice of validation - seeing and hearing one another’s inner realities, when we lovingly hold space for difficult emotions, when we can allow for multiple realities to exist at any one time, and when we create a culture of inquiry and curiosity that says, “I don’t know.”
Nathan has a background in design and research, and his previous clients include the NHS, Home-Start UK, Tower Hamlets Council, UK Youth, Bond, Guy’s and St Thomas’, the Trades Union Congress and the NCT, among others. Those projects span human-centred design, leadership, systems thinking, community engagement, strategy development, co-design, non-violent communication, self and team awareness, and culture.

SYNC Creatives, designed and programmed by Art Clubbers CIC, is an exciting programme providing training, support, opportunity and progression to budding creatives with a solid interest or background in arts & culture aged 18-30 from East London.
In the FREE Creatives Panel talk we are joined by Aisha Shaibu-Lenoir, Lu Williams and Tee Max to discuss their work as entrepreneurs navigating the creative industries, challenges they've faced and overcome, how they stay connected to their practice & community and advice they would give to others looking to work within the industry.
