Social Entrepreneurship in the Arts (REBUILD) OR Speed Mentoring
COVID-19 has radically turned on its head what sustainability means for the sector, with ticketing and commercial income decimated by the wave of local and national lockdowns. This session - featuring presentations from lecturer Dr Meg Peterson from King's College London, City of London Sinfonia, Art Clubbers CIC and IntoArt, an arts and design studio working inclusively with people with learning disabilities - explores ways in which we can build new income streams through socially engaged activity, including social prescribing, and the role of social impact evaluation in making the case for these strands.
Ajay Pabial, Managing Director, Art Clubbers CIC
Dr Meghan Peterson, Lecturer in Arts & Cultural Management Education, King's College London
Matthew Swann, Chief Executive, City of London Sinfonia
Ella Ritchie, Director, Intoart
This session will be followed by a live chat show style discussion, hosted by The People Speak, on the issues raised.
