The Green Entrepreneurs Programme: Week 3
We are at our halfway point in the Green Entrepreneurs Programme! We have had such amazing workshops so far and we are excited to continue learning and supporting the entrepreneurs this week!
The entrepreneurs started off with a great personal development session on the powerful life skill of effective communication with Mamta Gera, Leadership Coach & Facilitator. We said goodbye to clipart with Hadrien Chatelet, Creative Director of The Wern, as he directs the entrepreneurs on how to give your best pitch with advice and how to avoid common mistakes on presentations.
Hrvoje Konzic, Heart Centred Strategy and Business Development Freelancer, gave us a great dive into all the ways a business can develop through market penetration, market development, product development and diversification. Tomas Panek, Growth Marketing Consultant at Google, taught the cohort a new way to problem solve with design thinking and how that can be implemented into a new business. Another dynamic conversation with Rachael Castell, Director of Our Pledge and David Aula, Director of Unfeasible, on VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) and how resilience and adaptability are keys to success. We then moved on to talk about the importance of sustaining yourself by focusing on your mental health and wellbeing which can support your personal and professional development.
Phoebe Dodds, Founder of Buro155, taught the cohort how to build a social media strategy and plan for their business brand. To finish we had another excellent marketing workshop by Kim Darragon, Founder of Kim Does Marketing, about the effectiveness of email marketing and building an online network.
There has been fantastic progress with the entrepreneurs this week! Preparations for the pitches are taking place which we are all super excited to see soon!
