Brennan & Burch are Lisa Brennan & Majida Burch, artists with a quirky hand-drawn illustration style. They have been designing art prints, murals, public art installations and wallpaper for over 20 years. Brennan & Burch are excited to be part of ‘Welcome to Goodmayes’ project and are looking forward to discussing ideas about the mural. They will take you through a 2 hour session introducing their illustrations and the Art Clubbers mural competition then helping you discuss and draw what it means to you to live in Redbridge and how you can celebrate the borough through your art. This FREE Saturday morning session is suitable for young people aged 10-24 and their families. All materials will be provided – just bring yourselves and your creative ideas!

About the Artists: 

Brennan & Burch is a British interiors brand where Lisa Brennan's fantastical, colourful illustrations and hand-drawn characters decorate wallpaper, rugs and art prints. Her strong and thought provoking style is timeless, recognisable and unites everything Brennan & Burch creates.

Brennan & Burch co-founders Lisa & Majida have been friends since the 1980s when they met at school in Camden Town and were heavily influenced by street style, rockabillies, punk, casuals and acid house. They started their independent fashion brand specialising in limited edition streetwear in 2000 to celebrate popular culture. After 10 years of selling worldwide in stores such as La Foret Harajuku, Selfridges and Topshop, they turned their effort to the home and branched out into interiors where clients include Heals, Paul Smith and Hotel Pelirocco.

You are interested in art and want your home to reflect this; you love vintage or retro style; you are inspired by fashion and music subcultures; you like to express your individuality and you find it difficult to discover items you identify with strongly.
