The Green Entrepreneurs' Programme - Sprint 1: Weeks 7-8
The last couple of weeks of Sprint 1! The cohort are preparing for their pitches, gathering their resources together to plan their presentations to the judges!
To start the week, James West ran a session on mastering presentation skills. How to plan a presentation to be adaptable for the right audience, building that confidence to speak fluidly to leave a lasting impression! The cohort reflected on their lean canvas structure with Rachael Castell. A great session on how to implement greener ideas to their model to further boost their eco-consciousness and make the right decisions for their business. James Cracknell runs through what it means to develop community through the FEED Model and discusses how vital community is to build your confidence in business in your area.
Nat Harrison discussed how to build a sustainable business owner by understanding the power of self management as a self-employed business owner. The importance of trying out different techniques to support your mental health. We revisited the cohort's business vision, mission and values with Hrvoje Kondzic, which was a great time to reflect on everyone’s journey and progress! James Cracknell ran a session on how to overcome founder burnout and what prevention techniques are vital to support oneself and how community networks can support oneself as a business owner. It takes a village to prevent burnout!
Sprint 1 has come to an end!
