FAQ:
Q: I’m based somewhere else in the UK, is it essential for me to be based in London to apply for this opportunity?
A: Though it isn’t essential for you to be based in London, we’re asking applicants to be somewhat flexible in travelling into Walthamstow, London between January - April 2023 for a site visit and to install and/or create their artwork on site.
Q: What is the best way to present my design idea? Is there a preferred method?
A: We welcome ideas presented through various forms, from 2D sketches on paper to graphic design/illustration to a 3D sketch up. As long as you present your idea as clear and to the best of your ability, we will happily accept it!
Q: What files/media are accepted for my portfolio and design idea?
A: We accept files of: JPEG, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIF, TIFF, MP3, MPEG, MP4, XML, PDF, XLSL, XLS, DOC, DOCX, ODP,ODS, ODT.
We accept embedded media from: Vimeo, Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify, SketchFab, SlideShare.
You may also leave a Website Link for your portfolio.
Q: How detailed should the budget breakdown be?
A: The budget breakdown can be kept brief, however, we recommend applicants to include budget for any materials used and their own artist fee. Other expenses such as travelling (if based outside of London) should also be included.
Q: Can I save my application as a draft and come back to it?
A: Yes!
Q: Do you have more images or floor plan of the space to get a better idea of the entire space?
A: Aside from the images and relevant dimensions of the space/zone in the guidelines, please contact Annie, annie.dam@artclubbers, to request, should you find necessary.
Q: I’d like to present the same idea for more than one zone - is this accepted?
A: We welcome applicants to submit for more than one idea and for different zones too. However, please do adjust accordingly to any dimensions or individual criterias of the zone.
